In 1986 Sebastian Koduthore from Sri Lanka came to Germany and there, during his stay in a home for refugees, he found Jesus Christ as his own personal saviour. For many years Sebastian has been a member of our church. He married a German nurse Ursula and now they have four beautiful children. When God called them to be missionaries back in Sri Lanka, they went to Bible School in Germany and practical training in the USA. After a year of preparation in our church they were sent to Sebastian's native country by the Allianz-Mission (mission of the Free Evangelical Churches).

In Sri Lanka he pastors a small church and teaches at a Bible School, where pastors of rural regions get solid theological education. Ursula tries to help women by Christian counselling, but also by practical help in their frustrating economical situation. For some women she has organised a small workshop to produce cards and gift wraps for bottles.
